- Deficient light levels in the final boat inspection area led to safety concerns and productivity delays.
- Technicians had to use headlamps and flashlights to identify and repair defects.
- The customer was using six-lamp fluorescent T8 fixtures and wanted to drastically increase light levels.
Solution
- Redesigned the lighting fixture layout to maximize light distribution on the ground.
- Specified high-lumen LED high bay fixtures with smart controls and occupancy sensors.
- Grouped the fixtures into three areas based on employee usage and site needs.
