Challenge
- New regulations outlawed inefficient high-wattage quartz lamps, necessitating a system replacement.
- A lightning strike disabled the existing dimming system, causing multiple electrical issues that required urgent resolution.
- A basement located beneath the sanctuary prohibited the use of traditional lifts, requiring alternative access solutions to ensure team safety and facility integrity.
Solution
- Installed a new panelboard and 140 energy-efficient LED can fixtures, each equipped with Casambi control modules.
- Bypassed the damaged dimming modules and integrated the new LED fixtures into the existing DMX system.
- Collaborated with a professional scaffolding company to safely complete the three-week project.
